Primary process

FDM engineering + metal

Mounting points

12

Problem

The designed bracket geometry was driven by aesthetics and cable routing, but the installation code required demonstrable mechanical margins.

Constraints

Outdoor-adjacent environment, vibration from HVAC, and tamper resistance for public areas.

Solution

We printed structural shells with continuous fiber-style reinforcement strategy (material + geometry), paired each bracket with metal backup anchors, and documented torque sequences.

Production process

FEA-informed ribbing → print orientation for anisotropy control → destructive test on sacrificial sample → batch QC with checklist → install packet.

Final result

Installed across twelve mounting points with signed torque logs. No service callbacks in the first 12 months.
