Primary process

Resin SLA + polish

50 µm class features

Problem

The client needed undercut management without destroying mold integrity, and a surface that could survive aggressive mold release agents.

Constraints

Thin walls in several regions, strict symmetry across a split line, and a hard deadline tied to molding house booking.

Solution

We redesigned parting lines with the mold house, printed masters in tuned resin settings, and staged micro-polishing only where release risk was highest.

Production process

Moldability review → orientation optimization → print farm scheduling → dimensional check → polish ladder → signed-off master crate.

Final result

First silicone pull succeeded without rework on critical undercuts. Client booked a second master series within the same quarter.
